The short version01

What should you know about HoneyBoost in one minute?

It is a candy-style supplement with seven ingredient lines, a lot of marketing words and no study of its own.

  • What it is: a gummy, 30 to a bottle, with a label that names no condition.
  • What is in it: 75 mg of six extracts and L-arginine, 2.5 mg of zinc and 3 g of added sugar per gummy.
  • What the research says: some single ingredients have human studies at much larger doses. Nothing tested this gummy.
  • What to check first: your medicines. Mucuna is a levodopa source, and FDA warns about hidden drugs in this product category.
  • What to confirm: the live price, the directions on your bottle and the guarantee terms.

How it works02

How does HoneyBoost work, and what does the label show?

Nobody can say how the gummy works as a product. What can be shown is the label: tap a hotspot to see each line as printed.

The front prints phrases such as INTENSE STRENGTH†, PEAK STAMINA† and PERFORMANCE SUPPORT†. The dagger points to the FDA disclaimer, which says the statements have not been evaluated by FDA (FDA, Structure/Function Claims). They are marketing words, not measurements.

Tap a number to read that part of the label.

  1. Warnings

Do not take if pregnant, lactating, suffering from a medical condition or taking other medications. Consult a physician before using this product.

  2. Children, age, seal

Keep out of reach of children. Not intended for use under age 18. Do not use if seal is broken or missing.

  3. Allergen line

Packaged in the same facility as peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, soy and milk products.

  4. Lab Tested, No Artificial Additives

Printed on the label. The other-ingredients list on the same label names artificial color, and no lab or test result is printed.

  5. Distributor

GEX Corp LLP, Florence, KY, +1 (507) 448-8190, [email protected]. The manufacturer is not named.

  6. FDA statement

† These Statements have not been evaluated by the FDA. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

  7. Brand and tagline

A crown over HoneyBoost; FUEL YOUR CONFIDENCE. SATISFY HER.; MALE VITALITY FORMULA.

  8. Three claim icons

INTENSE STRENGTH†, PEAK STAMINA† and PERFORMANCE SUPPORT† beside a bolt, a flame and a male symbol.

  9. Round seal

FOR MEN WHO LEAD IN THE BEDROOM AND IN LIFE.

  10. Gold band

BIGGER DRIVE. HARDER. LONGER.† Three performance phrases with a dagger that points to the FDA statement.

  11. 30 gummies

30 GUMMIES, DIETARY SUPPLEMENT, HONEY FLAVOR.

  12. Supplement Facts

Serving 1 gummy (4.2 g), 30 servings, 10 calories, 3 g added sugars, zinc and six extract or amino acid lines.

  13. Other ingredients

Sugar, corn syrup, water, pectin, citric acid, natural flavor, guar gum, tapioca starch, sodium citrate, artificial color.

The explainer below shows the pieces in one picture: the label amount, the studied amount and the gap between them. How it works goes deeper.

The ingredients03

What is in HoneyBoost gummies?

Seven lines have amounts: zinc 2.5 mg, maca 10 mg, horny goat weed 10 mg, damiana 10 mg, tongkat ali 25 mg, mucuna 10 mg and L-arginine 10 mg.

The other ingredients are sugar, corn syrup, water, pectin, citric acid, natural flavor, guar gum, tapioca starch, sodium citrate and artificial color. No honey is listed. Pick a tab to see one ingredient: its label line, the studied amount and the caution.

Maca root: 10 mg per gummy

On the label
Maca (Lepidium meyenii) Root Extract 10:1: 10 mg, equivalent to 100 mg maca root.
Used in research
2,400 mg a day of a dry extract for 12 weeks (mild ED); 1,500 to 3,000 mg a day of gelatinized maca for 12 weeks (desire in healthy men)
Compared
About 0.4% of the 2,400 mg extract dose
Evidence
Limited: four small trials in a 2010 review; no change in testosterone in the men's trial
Watch for
Tell a clinician if you have a hormone-sensitive cancer, and before testosterone lab tests (maca may interfere with immunoassays)
Full Maca root page

Horny goat weed: 10 mg per gummy

On the label
Horny Goat Weed (Epimedium spp.) Extract 8:1: 10 mg, equivalent to 80 mg horny goat weed.
Used in research
No human trial of a set dose for sexual function found; icariin blocks the PDE5 enzyme in a test tube
Compared
No studied dose to compare
Evidence
Very limited: lab and animal data; the MSK page cites no human trial for sexual function
Watch for
A case report of a fast, irregular heartbeat in a man with heart failure; hormone-sensitive cancers and aromatase inhibitor medicines are listed cautions
Full Horny goat weed page

Damiana leaf: 10 mg per gummy

On the label
Damiana (Turnera diffusa) Leaf Extract 5:1: 10 mg, equivalent to 50 mg damiana leaf.
Used in research
No human trial of damiana alone for male sexual function found; the human studies in the review used mixed products
Compared
No studied dose to compare
Evidence
Very limited: animal and cell data; MSK says there are no human data for sexual behavior
Watch for
May affect blood sugar based on animal studies (MSK); tell your clinician if you take diabetes medicine
Full Damiana leaf page

Tongkat ali: 25 mg per gummy

On the label
Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma longifolia) Root Extract 100:1: 25 mg, equivalent to 2,500 mg tongkat ali root.
Used in research
100 to 600 mg a day of a standardized root extract, mostly one branded extract, for 3 days to 6 months (blood testosterone, mood)
Compared
About 4% to 25% of the 100 to 600 mg studied range
Evidence
Some support for blood testosterone in small trials; none for this gummy; product purity varies
Watch for
Products vary: in one DNA test only 37% of tongkat ali products were authentic
Full Tongkat ali page

Mucuna pruriens seed: 10 mg per gummy

On the label
Mucuna (Mucuna pruriens) Seed Extract, standardized to 98% L-DOPA (9.8 mg): 10 mg, 9.8 mg of it printed as L-DOPA.
Used in research
Seed preparations in small studies of male fertility and Parkinson disease; the abstracts we read give no dose that can be set beside 10 mg
Compared
No comparable studied dose in the abstracts read
Evidence
Limited: small, unblinded fertility data; the seed's levodopa content is real
Watch for
L-DOPA is the drug levodopa: do not combine with MAO inhibitors, Parkinson, psychiatric or blood pressure medicines without a pharmacist's advice; 7 of 14 people stopped the seed powder early in one study
Full Mucuna pruriens seed page

L-arginine: 10 mg per gummy

On the label
L-Arginine: 10 mg.
Used in research
5,000 mg (5 g) a day for 6 weeks in men who already had erectile dysfunction; benefit was subjective only
Compared
About 0.2% of the 5,000 mg studied
Evidence
Some support in men who already have ED (network meta-analysis), mostly at gram doses, and best with ED drugs
Watch for
Ask a pharmacist about nitrates, ED drugs and blood pressure medicine before taking arginine
Full L-arginine page

Zinc: 2.5 mg per gummy

On the label
Zinc (as zinc gluconate): 2.5 mg; 23% of the Daily Value.
Used in research
The adult RDA is 11 mg a day for men (the label's Daily Value); the upper limit is 40 mg a day
Compared
23% of the 11 mg Daily Value
Evidence
Established as a nutrient; this site found no source that zinc supplements raise testosterone in men who are not low in zinc
Watch for
Too much zinc causes problems (the upper limit is 40 mg a day from all sources); zinc may reduce the absorption of quinolone and tetracycline antibiotics
Full Zinc page

Seven tabs, one per line on the Supplement Facts panel: 10 + 10 + 10 + 25 + 10 + 10 = 75 mg of extracts and L-arginine, plus 2.5 mg of zinc, per gummy. Tap a tab to open it. No study tested the gummy.

Each has its own page: maca, horny goat weed, damiana, tongkat ali, mucuna, L-arginine and zinc.

Dose ruler04

How do the label amounts compare with what studies used?

The label amounts are small beside study doses: 10 mg of L-arginine against 5 g a day, and 25 mg of tongkat ali against 100 to 600 mg.

The ruler uses a log scale because the gaps are so large. The diamond is the label; the bar is the studied range (Chen et al. 1999) (Leisegang et al. 2022). No trial tested a gummy, and for damiana and horny goat weed there is no human dose to draw.

  • Maca extract

the studied amount is 240 times the label amount

Label: 10 mg per gummy. Studied: Dry extract, 2,400 mg a day for 12 weeks in men with mild ED. (Zenico et al. 2009)

  • Tongkat ali extract

the studied amount is 4 times the label amount

Label: 25 mg per gummy. Studied: Standardized root extract, 100 to 600 mg a day, mostly one branded extract. (Leisegang et al. 2022)

  • L-arginine

the studied amount is 500 times the label amount

Label: 10 mg per gummy. Studied: 5,000 mg (5 g) a day for 6 weeks in men with organic ED. (Chen et al. 1999)

  • Zinc

the studied amount is 4.4 times the label amount

Label: 2.5 mg per gummy. Studied: The adult male RDA and label Daily Value is 11 mg a day (not a study dose). (NIH ODS, Zinc)

Label amount, per gummyAmount used in the study (or the daily need, for zinc)

Log scale: each step to the right is ten times more. The label does not say how many gummies make a day, so one gummy is shown. A studied dose says what was tested, not what works for you, and no study tested HoneyBoost. Horny goat weed, damiana and mucuna are left out because we found no human dose that can be set beside the label.

Claims vs evidence05

Does HoneyBoost work?

We cannot say. No study tested HoneyBoost, and the label names no condition to test it against.

The FTC expects health claims to rest on competent and reliable scientific evidence, usually human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance). For testosterone, a review of 50 "T booster" products found 61.5% had no data at all (Clemesha et al. 2020). Each label phrase, set beside what sources say:

  1. On the label“INTENSE STRENGTH†”Strength is not defined. The amounts per gummy (10 to 25 mg of extracts) are far below the amounts in studies we found. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims)
  2. On the label“PEAK STAMINA†”Stamina is not defined. Tongkat ali studies measured blood testosterone and mood, not stamina, and used 100 to 600 mg of an extract. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims)
  3. On the label“PERFORMANCE SUPPORT†”Performance is not defined on the label. Trials of single ingredients in men with ED used far larger amounts and tested different products. (FDA, Structure/Function Claims)
  4. On the label“BIGGER DRIVE. HARDER. LONGER.†”Three sexual-performance phrases. No study tested HoneyBoost, and the FDA warns that products sold with these promises are sometimes found to hide prescription drugs. (FDA, Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications)
  5. On the label“FUEL YOUR CONFIDENCE. SATISFY HER.”Confidence and a partner's satisfaction are not measured by a supplement trial. No study tested this gummy, and a label tagline is not a result. (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance)
  6. Common ad claim“Natural testosterone booster”A 2020 review of 50 such products found only 24.8% had any data showing a rise in testosterone, and about 1 in 10 had data showing a fall. A 2024 review judged most testosterone boosters ineffective. (Clemesha et al. 2020)
  7. Common ad claim“Male enhancement”FDA says many products sold for sexual enhancement are likely to be contaminated with hidden drugs, and calls it medication health fraud. (FDA, Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications)

Words as printed on the label, and two phrases common in ads. Health claims need competent and reliable scientific evidence, generally human trials of the same product (FTC, Health Products Compliance Guidance).

The full table is on claims versus evidence.

Sugar06

How much sugar is in a HoneyBoost gummy?

Each gummy has 3 g of added sugar and 10 calories. That is 6% of the Daily Value.

The American Heart Association suggests no more than about 9 teaspoons (150 calories) of added sugar a day for most men (AHA, Added Sugars). Move the slider to count gummies against that line.

1 gummy
  • 3 gadded sugar
  • 12 calfrom that sugar
  • 12%of the 100-calorie limit for most women
  • 8%of the 150-calorie limit for men

AHA limits: no more than 100 calories (about 6 teaspoons) of added sugar a day for most women and 150 calories (about 9 teaspoons) for men (AHA, Added Sugars). Calories here are grams x 4, our arithmetic. Other foods and drinks count too.

Safety07

Is HoneyBoost safe? Check these first

Safety depends on your medicines and health. The label says not to take it if you take other medications or have a medical condition.

FDA warns that products sold for sexual enhancement are sometimes found to hide prescription drugs, and that those drugs are dangerous with nitrates (FDA, Sexual Enhancement and Energy Product Notifications). We have not tested HoneyBoost and cannot see inside your bottle. Mucuna is standardized to 98% L-DOPA, which matters with MAO inhibitors and Parkinson medicine (MedlinePlus, Levodopa and Carbidopa). Answer the check below, then read medicine safety.

1. Do you take a nitrate (such as nitroglycerin), an erectile dysfunction drug, or any heart or blood pressure medicine?
2. Do you take an MAO inhibitor, a Parkinson or antipsychotic medicine, a diabetes medicine, or an antibiotic such as a quinolone or tetracycline?
3. Do you have heart disease, diabetes, a hormone-sensitive cancer, or a hormone condition?
4. Is this for someone under 18, or for a pregnant or nursing woman?
5. Do you have chest pain, trouble breathing or fainting right now, or an erection that has lasted more than 4 hours?
Answer all fiveYour result shows here. It is a checklist, not medical advice.

How to use it08

How do you take HoneyBoost?

Read the bottle. The label we have prints no directions, so we will not make up a dose or a time of day.

The panel says the serving is 1 gummy and the container holds 30 servings. It does not say how many to take, how often or with what. Follow the directions on the bottle that arrives, and never go past them. If there are none, ask the seller before the first gummy.

  1. 01

Check the seal and the bottle

On a new bottle, check that the safety seal is intact and that the label matches the one shown on this site: HoneyBoost, 30 GUMMIES, MALE VITALITY FORMULA.

  2. 02

Read the directions on the bottle

The label image we have prints no directions or suggested use. Follow whatever is printed on the bottle that arrives, and do not exceed it.

  3. 03

    Check your medicines first

The label says not to take it if you take other medications. If you take a nitrate, a blood pressure, heart, diabetes or Parkinson medicine or an MAO inhibitor, ask a pharmacist before starting.

  4. 04

Count the sugar and the days

Each gummy has 3 g of added sugar. A bottle holds 30 gummies, so the days it lasts depend on the number you take, which the bottle tells you.

See how to use it and what to expect and track.

FAQ14

HoneyBoost questions people ask

What is HoneyBoost?

A dietary supplement in gummy form, 30 gummies a bottle. The label lists zinc 2.5 mg, maca 10 mg, horny goat weed 10 mg, damiana 10 mg, tongkat ali 25 mg, mucuna 10 mg and L-arginine 10 mg, and it names no condition.

Does HoneyBoost work?

We found no study of the gummy. Single ingredients have research, mostly at larger doses and in men with other starting points, so no one can promise a result.

Does HoneyBoost raise testosterone?

No source we read shows that. The best human data for the label plants is for tongkat ali at 100 to 600 mg a day, and the gummy holds 25 mg.

Is HoneyBoost safe?

It depends on your medicines and health. The label itself says not to take it if you take other medications or have a medical condition, and to consult a physician first.

How many HoneyBoost gummies a day?

The label we have prints no directions, so we give no number. Follow the bottle that arrives and do not go past it.

Does FDA approve HoneyBoost?

FDA does not approve supplements before sale, and we make no such claim.

Where can I buy HoneyBoost?

Through the order links on this site, which go to the seller's checkout. Check the live price and guarantee there.

How much does HoneyBoost cost?
